A tiny, much-loved craft brewery and taphouse on Willunga's High Street, brewing experimental small-batch beers a few barrels at a time.

A nano-brewery on the High Street

Shifty Lizard is a small-batch, experimental craft brewery sitting in a heritage building on Willunga's High Street, a short walk from the Slate Museum and the Saturday farmers market. The brewhouse is in the back; the taphouse is at the front; everything you drink is brewed on the premises.

The beers

The lineup rotates often - the brewers like to play. Expect anything from a hop-forward IPA to a barrel-aged sour to a one-off collaboration with a local distillery. Tasting paddles are the way in if you're new; cans and growler fills are available to take home.

A Willunga walk

Shifty Lizard pairs naturally with a Saturday morning at the Willunga Farmers Market and an afternoon at the Slate Museum, all within a 200-metre walk on the same street.
