A sixth-generation winemaking family
Bec Hardy is a sixth-generation member of the Hardy winemaking family (of Hardys Tintara) and today runs her own label alongside the historic Pertaringa range. Her grandfather planted the Pertaringa vineyards in the 1940s, so the brand has deep roots in McLaren Vale.
Cellar door
The refurbished cellar door on Hunt Road features tastings of both brands - indoors or outdoors amongst the vines. Wines cover McLaren Vale Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet, Tempranillo and Prosecco. Bookings are strongly recommended as the cellar door is a popular stop and frequently reaches capacity.
