Normanville Beach

Wide white sand just an hour from Adelaide

One of the longest, safest swimming beaches on the Fleurieu - a broad arc of white sand backed by dunes and a historic jetty.

A classic family beach

Normanville Beach is a wide, gently sloping arc of pale sand that runs for several kilometres between Yankalilla Bay and the Bungala River. The beach is generally sheltered and has some of the safest swimming on the western Fleurieu, making it one of the region's best family destinations.

What to do

  • Swimming and wading in the shallows
  • The Normanville Jetty for fishing and walks
  • Beach walks along the long sandy foreshore
  • Cafes, bakery and pub in the adjacent Normanville township

Parking is available on Jetty Road and along The Esplanade. Public toilets, a kiosk and a playground make it a good family stop.
