Frankie Italo is the dining venue at the Mitolo Wines property on McMurtrie Road, McLaren Vale. The kitchen does Roman-style pizza al taglio (rectangular thin-crust slabs sold by the cut), housemade pasta, and a tight Italian small-plates menu. The dining room is light, contemporary and deliberately playful - a disco-lounge fitout that signals this is not your standard cellar door bistro.
